Today we met up with Aunt Summer and Uncle Daniel at the Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn, a famous American classic steakhouse that has been named the best steakhouse in New York City by Zagat for 30 years in a row.

Izakaya at Sakagura

Love love love the food at Sakagura (酒蔵). One of the best izakaya places we’ve ever been to. Will definitely go back the next time we are in New York. Seared Washu beef with grated diakon radish and ponzu sauce.

One of Brian’s favorite places to eat in Vancouver is Meat & Bread. Every time we go back to Vancouver, we always go get their famous Porchetta Sandwich at least once! Meat & Bread at the Pender Street location.

Family dinner at Hawksworth

Today we enjoyed a nice family dinner at Hawksworth, located inside the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, to celebrate my mom and brother-in-law’s birthdays. Thanks Daphne for the treat! 🙂 Brian got a tasty glass of dirty martini to start with.

Silverlake Ramen

After visiting friends in the West Hollywood area, we decided to give Silverlake Ramen a try. It was a 45 minute wait on a Saturday at 8:30pm, but it didn’t disappoint! We will come back if we are in the area
