After visiting friends in the West Hollywood area, we decided to give Silverlake Ramen a try. It was a 45 minute wait on a Saturday at 8:30pm, but it didn’t disappoint! We will come back if we are in the area
The Playground in Santa Ana is one of our favorite restaurants. Need to go back! Amberjack sashimi with palm sugar, crispy shallots and mint.
Today’s ramen visit was to Men Oh Tokushima Ramen in Little Tokyo. One of the best!
Kantaro Sushi is a hidden gem in a little ghetto plaza in Torrance. You need to make sure you make a reservation with them, otherwise you are mostly likely to be turned away. Their ~$40 omakase includes sashimi plate, 10 pieces
We looked for a new place to try on our way to a Chris Botti performance in Pechanga Casino and found Ricky Sushi in Corona. We decided to give its omakase a try, and were very happy with the food!
Our first time at Bottega Louie at Downtown LA. The decor is glamorous and the food is pretty good! Ceviche.
A famous ramen place in Los Angeles is the Hakata Ramen Shinsengumi. Brian really likes it but I am still undecided…
One of our favorite yakitori places is Yakitoriya in Sawtelle. A little pricy though… I wouldn’t mind finding another good yakitori place to go. Lotus roots tempura with spicy tuna.
Have heard many good things about Nana San in Newport Beach and finally made it here today. Had a great meal! Lotus roots tempura with spicy tuna.
