A beautiful Sunday morning for brunch at Daphne’s! The location: Daphne’s cozy and pretty backyard/home garden.

Today we’re having Brian’s yummy homemade guacamole! Ingredients: Avocados, Rotel diced tomatoes, shallots, jalapenos, bacon bits, lime, and cilantro.

We brought back a box of macarons from Ladurée during our New York trip to enjoy!  Pink box of 24. 

This weekend Brian played at the LABC (Los Angeles Badminton Club)’s Chinese New Year tournament in the men’s singles E+ group.  His equipment! 

We love spending Chinese New Year back home in Vancouver!! Great time with family and amazing home cooking!!!   WOW!! 

A beautiful day out!  We had a walk at the Tri-City Park. 

This Chritmas we went to see the holiday light display in the Eagle Hills neighborhood in Brea. More than 100 homes participate in the event every year featuring beautiful lights and decorations.  Gingerbread house! 

We had a fun sushi-making party at home! Chef Brian is preparing the sushi rice. We bought Japanese short grain rice, and what you need to do is mix it with rice vinegar and let it cool. 

Brian tried cooking white wine clam sauce fettuccine for the first time. His own invention! 🙂 Cooking the clams in white wine and lots and lots of butter!!
