This Chritmas we went to see the holiday light display in the Eagle Hills neighborhood in Brea. More than 100 homes participate in the event every year featuring beautiful lights and decorations. Gingerbread house!
We had a fun sushi-making party at home! Chef Brian is preparing the sushi rice. We bought Japanese short grain rice, and what you need to do is mix it with rice vinegar and let it cool.
Brian tried cooking white wine clam sauce fettuccine for the first time. His own invention! 🙂 Cooking the clams in white wine and lots and lots of butter!!

After the first day of a successful show (for my sister’s cashmere line) at the D&A show in NYC, Karen and I headed over for a yummy meal! Today we tried the restaurant called Hakata Tonton located in West Village.
