Roadrunners
Today I kept hearing a knocking on our French doors in the back. When I looked I surprisingly found two roadrunners running around! It looked like one bird was chasing after the other and making loud noises.
Delicious charcoal yakiniku at 胡同
Our first time at Hutong / 胡同燒肉夜食. Really enjoyed the yummy yakiniku on charcoal grill. Thanks to big sister Michelle for treating!
Omakase at 門將日本料理
Brandon treated us to this nice cozy restaurant 門將日本料理 in Taichung when we visited his family. The chef paid great attention to all the details of each dish and we loved it.
Visiting Juming Museum
On this trip to Taiwan we visited the Juming Museum (朱銘美術館) and really appreciated the amazing sculptures by artist Ju Ming. This was one of my favorite called Single Whip (單鞭下勢) – part of the Taichi Series (太極系列).
