Totto Ramen was one of two ramen shops that are most often recommended by people in New York, so we were happy to finally give it a try!
Totto Ramen is different from most ramen shops in that their soup is chicken-based broth. I had the Paitan Ramen – lots of meat and green onions, with addition of boiled egg and bamboo shoot. The homemade noodles were great and the soup is quite flavorful. 
You can see the staff hard at work working on each bowl of ramen and charring the pork.
The Spicy Ramen was also very good!
We went to the Midtown West location and the restaurant is quite tiny. Expect a long line during the busy hours.
