Geng Shi Ji is probably my favourite ‘fancy’ Chinese restaurant in Vancouver! Decor is modern, service is attentive, and the food is excellent! It is Hunan cuisine and the spicy dishes are yum!!
One of my favourite dishes here is Century Eggs with Eggplant / 松花蛋擂茄子. It is spicy and very addictive.
Cold Pork Knuckle / 肴肉.
Sauteed Pickled Beans with Minced Pork / 酸豆角炒肉末. Another favourite!!
Spicy Beef Shank / 麻辣牛腱.

Claypot “Original” Chicken / 砂鍋原味雞 – So juicy and flavorful! This is their signature dish and requires reservation beforehand.
This is another amazing dish! 酒釀乾燒蝦 – Prawns cooked in fermented rice wine.
