We couldn’t resist and found ourselves here at Hakata Tonton once again after a successful show! I think this place has become a must-go place each time we are in NYC!
Today we tried a different hot pot – “Hakata Motsu,” although we substituted the beef intestine with pork belly. (Last time we had the Pig Feet Hot Pot). It is a “special” broth with cabbages, chives, gyoza skin, garlic and chili.
We ordered an extra order of Berkshire pork slices. The soup was so delicious!!!
As proof…
We could have added noodles but we were too full!
Super yummy spicy yuzu dipping sauce. Had to bring a bottle home with me.
Can’t wait to try another hot pot next time!!
