Another fun date night! We enjoyed the food, the view, and the decor at miX, a restaurant envisioned by Alain Ducasse, located at the top of the Delano Las Vegas. Heard that the restaurant will be transformed into something else June 2015, so we’re glad we got a chance to try it.
The interior is so beautiful. I especially loved the beautiful Murano glass globes hanging from the ceiling.
Romantic date night!
We were on the 64th floor of Delano.
Bread.
Butter and peanut butter for the bread. The peanut butter is very tasty!
Dungeness Crab Salad, with guacamole, heart of palm, and cilantro. It was delicious and refreshing. Unfortunately Brian got an allergic reaction to the crab (kind of as expected) but still very much worth it!
Charcuterie Sampler: San Daniele secolo prosciutto, Italian rosemary cotto ham, and assorted dried sausages.
Mustard seeds.
Pickles.
Seared Duck Foie Gras with dates and Meyer lemon confit. Foie Gras was great but we had to leave the lemon aside… too sweet!
Roasted Maine Lobster “Au Curry” with coconut basmati rice. That was a lot of lobster, and the dish is not heavy. Really enjoyed it.
Chocolate souffle – it was not sweet and quite bitter, which we loved!
Pistachio ice cream paired with the souffle.
Latte.
Lemon madeleines with hazelnut chocolate sauce.
Beautiful glass globes.
Nice view of the Las Vegas strip.
miX Lounge.
