We first heard of the Fresh Local Wild food truck because it has been featured on Diner, Drive-ins & Dives. So we decided to give it a try! They are around the corner at West Hastings and Burrard.
It’s very rare that food truck come with seats! Fresh Local Wild actually has a little eating area attached to it. Since we invited my parents to come with us, we made sure to be the first customers to get the seats!
This is what they are most famous for: BC Seafood Chowder Poutine – mussels, clams, steelhead, cod and bacon in a New England style chowder over fries. It was so delicious we couldn’t stop eating it!
Chicken Fried Oysters ‘Po-Boy’ – according to my mom who loves fried oysters this was very good!
