Cassis macaron at Laduree

The first time I had the Cassis (black currant) maracon at Laduree was in Paris in 2009 and it was soooo good! Ever since then, I visited Laduree every time I was in Paris or New York, but haven’t been able to get it again since it is a seasonal flavor. When the new Laduree opened in Vancouver, I found out that they do have Cassis so I had to line up to get it!

Finally!! Because this Laduree just opened for less than a week, it was an one-hour wait… but so worth it!
