Anniversary dinner at CUT

Today we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at CUT, steakhouse by Wolfgang Puck, located in the Beverly Wilshire. We have been wanting to go to this place for a while now, but never remembered to make a reservation long enough ahead of time. This time Brian actually secretly made a reservation months before our anniversary. I didn’t know about it until we were on the way to the restaurant… I thought we were going to Costco. What a surprise!! 🙂

Michelin-starred CUT by Wolfgang Puck.

I enjoyed a glass of “Show Me Love” – Vodka, St-Germain Liqueur, Lychee Juice, and Lime Juice. I love lime and lychee and this was perfect!

Caramelized onion focaccia and pretzel bread.

Bone Marrow Flan, with mushrooms marmalade and parsley. It was quite delicious.

We splurged and tried the Japanese Wagyu (from Miyazaki Prefecture, Kyushu), just because we heard this is the best place in LA to have it. It had a really dense, rich flavor that we really loved! We shared a 8 oz. piece and it was perfect. We think anything more might be too much because of the amount of fat this meat has.

The side, mushrooms and shishito peppers, was excellent!
